Tree Health Inspections
A dying or broken canopy, excessive sap, heaving soil, discolored foliage, presence of fungal conks and significant lean are some of the signs of declining tree health that might prompt a tree health inspection. The ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborist conducting the tree health inspection will inspect the tree and try to determine the cause of the symptoms. The arborist may also assess the likelihood of tree failure, identifying the potential risk to people and property in case of failure. This information can be used to determine whether or not intervention is necessary and if so, what intervention is recommended.
Jeremy Fry has attained the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ). This additional education trains arborists in the systematic process for identifying tree risk. The process includes evaluating the likelihood of a tree failure and the potential harm caused by a failure.
